This five-week walk through Hebrews 7 traces one tightly reasoned argument, from the strange priest of Genesis 14 to the Son "made perfect forever" (Hebrews 7:28). Week by week it follows the chapter's own logic: a priesthood without genealogy, a system that could not finish its work, a qualification of indestructible life rather than lineage, an oath that makes the office unalterable, and a priest who needs no successor because He "always lives to make intercession" for His people. In a congregation it does patient doctrinal work -- honoring the Levitical order while showing its ceiling, and landing each week on the access believers now have through a priest who cannot die.

Better Things opens at the hinge of the letter, where the hardest warning in Hebrews turns on a single word: "But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you" (Hebrews 6:9). Across five weeks the series moves from that turn to the work God is not unjust to forget, the oath God swore by Himself to Abraham, the two unchangeable things in which "it is impossible for God to lie," and the anchor of the soul that enters within the veil, where Jesus has gone ahead as forerunner. In a congregation it pastors the faithful but weary -- honest about the warning, then patient with the promise -- and leaves the room anchored to a high priest who is interceding now.

Are We Drifting? is a six-session diagnostic built on the letter's first warning: "how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?" (Hebrews 2:3). The first three sessions establish that drift is real, sneaky, and dangerous; that God has not changed and is not to blame; and that the pull begins inside a person. The last three walk the road back: Naomi, who turned before she had anything together; Malachi 3, where the God who does not change says "Return to Me"; and the woman at the well, met by the God who had to pass through Samaria. It closes by offering both kinds of drifting people the same God.

Who Do You Say That I Am? is a four-session study on the hinge of Matthew's Gospel, where the same chapter that hands Peter the keys shows him refusing the cross five verses later. It walks a room from the Question -- "but who do you say that I am?" -- to the Person, to the Keys, to the Work, pressing one claim: a Christ confessed but not crucified is a partial Christ, and the doorway opens only as far as the knowing goes. It carries the doctrinal guardrails a teacher will be glad of -- the keys as teaching authority rather than warfare, the triune name held against confusion, and the cross as the shape of discipleship, never the price of salvation -- and every passage is set in NASB95 and collated against the licensed text.

Preparing for the Upper Room walks a congregation through the ten days the first disciples kept between the Ascension and Pentecost -- waiting, praying, and making room for the Spirit. Each day carries a passage, a meditation, a specific fast, reflection questions, and a closing prayer, building toward a gathering day the pastor sets: Pentecost, a consecration or revival Sunday, or the start of a new year.
